About the Family

A first-time single father is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and professional live-in nanny to help care for his infant daughter. The father works from home as an artist and is very involved in his daughter’s daily care. He is looking for a true caregiving partner who enjoys working collaboratively in an environment built on kindness, mutual respect, and open communication.

The ideal candidate will provide loving, attentive care while supporting the child’s healthy physical, emotional, and cognitive development through consistent routines, engaging play, and responsive caregiving.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving care for an infant throughout the day
• Support age-appropriate developmental milestones through play and enrichment
• Maintain consistent routines for feeding, naps, and daily care
• Prepare simple meals for the child as she grows
• Light housekeeping related to the child
• Work closely with the father during his work-from-home schedule, providing independent care during uninterrupted work blocks while maintaining excellent communication
• Foster a safe, loving, emotionally supportive environment that encourages healthy emotional regulation and development

Ideal Candidate

• Significant infant care experience
• Strong understanding of infant development and developmental milestones
• CPR and First Aid Certified
• Warm, patient, nurturing, and emotionally attuned
• Comfortable working alongside a highly involved parent
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
• Reliable, trustworthy, and proactive
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High School Diploma or GED required

Additional Details

• Live-In Position
• Private living accommodations include:
  • Fully furnished 256 sq. ft. private bedroom
  • Additional 90 sq. ft. private room for personal use
  • Private bathroom connected to the bedroom
  • Shared access to the kitchen, living room, and nursery
• Flexible schedule to be discussed with the family
• Days off will most likely be on weekends but will be determined together based on the family’s needs
