We are looking for a dependable, patient, and engaging sitter/nanny for our energetic 2.5-year-old daughter, Wren, while I attend evening classes for my MPA program. This role is primarily for weekday evening coverage, with occasional short-notice babysitting opportunities as schedules change. Typical hours will usually be around 4:30 PM–8:00 PM. Some evenings may require daycare pickup in Ojai, while others will simply involve meeting us at our apartment before I leave for class. Dad will typically be home by around 8:00 PM. Responsibilities may include: Occasional daycare pickup from Ojai Preparing/simple serving of dinner Playtime and engaging activities Helping with transitions and bedtime routine Light tidying related to child activities/meals Providing updates/text communication during care We live in an apartment community, so being mindful of noise and neighbors is important to us. We also have an older grouchy dog who stays secured in the bedroom at all times, and we ask that the bedroom door remain closed and not be opened. We’re hoping to find someone warm, trustworthy, communicative, and experienced with toddlers who can help create a safe, calm, and fun environment for Wren.
