LaborMAX Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with Carpentry Experience for a growing client in Newberry, SC . This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable, hands-on professional looking to join a company that values quality workmanship and offers the potential for permanent employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building and facility maintenance
• Complete carpentry projects including repairs, flooring, framing, trim work, doors, windows, and cabinetry
• Repair and maintain flooring, drywall, ceilings, and other building components
• Conduct preventative maintenance and respond to maintenance requests
• Troubleshoot and repair minor plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Assist with facility improvements and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience required
• Carpentry experience required
• Working knowledge of hand and power tools
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow work orders
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment
• Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
